Healthier Baked Goods was born out of a desire for snacks and desserts that satisfied cravings for sweets but without the sugars and saturated fats that increase risk of health issues such as high cholesterol, diabetes and heart disease.
Our baked goods are healthier than many traditional bakery items because they are made with natural sweeteners and whole food ingredients including whole grains, nuts, fruits, olive oil and Greek yogurt.
They do not contain high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors or preservatives, or ingredients high in saturated fat like heavy cream.
We aim to have goodies for vegans and people with dairy free and nut free dietary preferences, plus options with no added sugars and ingredients that don’t contain gluten. (However, as we do not have a dedicated gluten free facility and cross contact may occur, our products are not suitable for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance and people with allergies to wheat, milk, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, fish and crustacean shellfish. Due to components in the sweeteners used, our baked goods are not suitable for those with medical conditions that require a limitation on sugar intake or avoidance of sugar.)
